ALP - Alternate learning programs

Sessions are kept to the true Respite explorers ways & are all based outdoors, we work with the families & any other external bodies involved to come up with structured individual programs, that will support any current targets.

We concentrate on supporting and encouraging independence , communication and social skills , working on sensory processing needs all through creative outdoor play and adventures.

We encourage and support development through building positive relationships and trying out new activities.

We are NOT an education provider.

We do work closely with there education providers to ensure consistency throughout.

Community Engagement

We aim to encourage and promote independence through community engagement eg accessing public transport , cafes and much more

Social interaction/ Team work

Supporting peers though team work activities.

Pet Thearpy

Theses sessions aim to support the young persons mental and physical well - being.

The sessions aim to be calming for the young people and as hands on as they can manage.

Physical Education

Fun time, allowing the young people to explore their active side, try new activities , building confidence.

Agriculture

Visiting farms, feeding animals, learning about the environment around us, through walks in the forest.
